How to play
There are 6 directions for your balls to go on the game platform. You can move your balls in one of these 6 directions as single, double or triple. . You can only go one unit per move. More is not allowed under the Game Rules. You cannot move your balls to be 4 or 5 balls. The object of the game is to push your opponent’s balls. In Abalone this is called “sumito”. There are 3 possibilities for Sumito: 3 balls can push one ball, 3 balls can push two balls and 2 balls can push 1 ball. 3 balls cannot push 3 balls, 2 balls cannot push 2 balls, or 1 ball cannot push 1 ball. This is called balance and these balls are locked. According to the Game Rules, it is not allowed to move in this way. You will need to relocate some balls to unlock it. The back of the balls you will make moves must be empty. In other words, if 4 balls come back to back in the direction you will make a move, it is forbidden to choose 3 balls among 4 balls and make a move. In order to move, you must remove the 4th ball and make the back of the 3 balls empty.
